Three hours of Prague
There are only a few cities left where you can actually get what you expect and Prague is one of them. No wonder why it is so popular. Sure it is lucky having a river, a hill with a castle upon it, romantic narrow streets, parks, super cute trams etc. but what really holds together all these can be described with one single word: hospitality. The devotion of Czech people to each other and to all the rest of us is somehow phenomenal.

Millions of songs

In Rome there are words and songs everywhere
Like everywhere in Rome I always read enscriptions, even though I don’t get a single word of them. On bridges, ancient buildings, churches, these are everywhere. I believe that writing was and is the biggest achievement of mankind. Our ability to express ourselves in written is evolving to a level far beyond control. If you write something and another person understands, from that moment on it is part of the lexicon of that language.

Gothic eye opener

I’m gonna level with you, I never experienced the amount of fear anywhere else than in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. Even the word gothic sends shivers down my spine. You see I fear of the dark since my childhood. Not darkness itself but all the horrid creatures I can’t see – those that are obviously not there. Don’t ask me why, I wandered in Barcelona late at night. Boy, was I scared! All the streets are gloomy and spooky, squares are empty and narrow…

Remote eruption

Quid

London’s main attractions are the Tower Bridge the Houses of Parliament the Rolling Quid the Eye and of course the Buckingham Palace.
What? You haven’t heard of the Buckingham Palace? Or is it the Quid? All right I’ll tell you then.
It happened on April 6th in the wonderful year of 1906. When he finished breakfast Terry tried to cheer his wife up a bit. Alas in vain.
