For almost thirty years Berlin has been celebrating unity. The wall stood between each and every one of us in Europe too. We built it. It had to be build so that it can be later dismantled piece by piece and we would know exactly which brick to take next.

First time abroad
First time abroad is always a remarkable experience. Well, if you are over four or five, or I don’t know how memory evolves. Ages ago I was in Vienna during wintertime way under my teens and a few things got so entrenched in my brain I can see and feel them right now when I close my eyes.
My first ever Christmas market on Maria-Theresa-Square. I wouldn’t even know why we traveled there but it sure was fantastic.

Chaos on a Road
Life is large in Bangkok. And by that I mean it is particularly important for locals. Joy and constant level of happiness make it large, tasty bits and eating all day make it large, light and eternal sunshine, faith and two thousand years old religion. All billions of tiny pieces and how they become a whole system. So many things to see so many many things to do in this sizzling metropolis you literally have no idea what to start with.

Fetid town?
Wonderful Venice. Shiny flourishing center of the nautical world in earlier centuries then down in the dumps after Vasco da Gama found a sea route to India. Still you can only admire its characteristics including water all over the place, the century old architecture, the Carnival, the Film Festival, all the constant vibe and of course the absence of cars which forces you to use your lower limbs or one of them Gondolas.

Peak of sorrow
When I was in Paris paying a visit to Square du Vert-Galant late at night I had the strangest vision. At the very end of the island I saw the ghost of a woman with her left foot in the water throwing what seemed tiny pieces of paper into it. Those sorrowful eyes and long-drawn movements had me wondering what on earth she was doing there so I approached her slowly but firmly. I delicately asked if I could sit down next to her and to tell me what the problem was.
